The Women group has several projects, among them, making beads and Jewellery, one of our key income generating activities. You are welcome to view some our our samples at the slide show. Through this blog, we hope to receive orders for our products. We can custom make Jewellery and other decorative items according to our client needs. Wanawake wa Kibera wajitegemee

Wanawake Wa Kibera Wajitegemee is an initiative of the local Community Based organization, Wanawake Wajitegemee. The name of this initiative is derived from the Kiswahili words, meaning, Women should be self reliant. The organization was formed with the aim of encouraging women to join self help groups, so that they can benefit from the power of pooling resources. As the Kiswahili proverb says "Kidole Kimoja hakiuwi chawa" meaning "one finger cannot kill lice". This initiative aims help them benefit by collectively pooling resources to pull each other away from their resource poor bases.
